I love Reese Knightly's three intertwined series. All of her main characters are strong and fun and, in my opinion, well written. The first book in this particular series about Cobalt Security, was terrific. I've been waiting for Logan's story and was surprised it took so long, but I felt it was worth the wait. Logan is such a great character. Someone who gave his all for his family and friends but seemed to forget about himself. I would have liked for him to find someone a little better for him than Macy, but Macy wasn't bad, he just had a bit of "small man syndrome" that colored his interactions with others. I suspect he had a bit of lack of confidence despite his occupation. Ultimately, of course, Logan and Macy came to a proper understanding and the ending chase and confrontation with the bad guy were exciting and well done. I did really dislike the way two of the characters in this book died though, especially the second. This author has a bad habit, in my opinion, of killing off likable characters in most of her books. Otherwise, four solid stars. I'm now waiting for Gunnar's and Jaxon's story. I've been anxiously awaiting this story. I love the Cobalt brothers and was pleasantly surprised to see Logan fall for the smart mouth sexy waiter who likes skirts and makeup. Macy surprised me with his secret but I was thrilled there was so much more to him. The one thing that bothered me was the cover. Macy has really long dark hair. I kept waiting for him to cut it in the story so it matched the guy depicted.
